Reno is called The Biggest Little City, and for a good reason. Reno has all the attractions and opportunities as a big city but still has that small-town friendly feel. From the picturesque Sierra Nevada mountains to the bright lights of downtown, you’re sure to find something the whole family will love.

Reno Air Racing Association

The Reno Air Races have been an attraction in Reno since 1964 with aviation enthusiasts from all over the world to share their excitement for everything aviation. They host several races as well as stunt performances and demonstrations.

Nevada Museum of Art

The Nevada Museum of Art is the only museum in Nevada that is accredited by the American Alliance of Museums, and it is located in the heart of downtown Reno. The museum and its exhibits have been shaped over the years of the environment it came from: the mountains, desert, and Bay Area. One of the most prominent exhibits is the Seven Magic Mountains.

Reno Riverwalk District

The Reno Riverwalk District is the premier area to support Reno local businesses. The Riverwalk runs through downtown on the Truckee River with a great selection of shops, bars, and restaurants. It has been continually “beautified” over the years and strives to celebrate Reno’s culture and art.

The Row

Reno may not be as extravagant as Vegas, but the quality is evident. The Row is compiled of three different hotels in downtown Reno. The Eldorado—where luxury is taken to a whole new level—Circus Circus—where you can experience a little circus flare—and the Silver Legacy—where entertainment is the number one priority. These three hotels offer 25 restaurants, 23 bars, and 11 clubs where you can experience all that Reno has to offer.

Kayak Rentals

On the north shore, Tahoe City Kayak Rentals can provide kayak and paddleboard rentals, tours, and sales. Take out a kayak or paddleboard on the lake or the river for new discoveries!

Tahoe Rim Trail

Suppose you’re looking for something a little off the beaten path, the Tahoe Rim Trail hiking trail loops around the lake for 170 miles with some of the best views in the area. You do not need a permit except in the Desolation Wilderness in South Lake.

River Rafting

If you’re looking for a fun, relaxing day on the river, look no further! Truckee River Raft Company sets you off on your boat for some leisurely fun on the Truckee River between Tahoe City and Alpine Meadows. Fun for all ages!
